August on DailyWorth: Rewind
By Amanda Steinberg on Monday August 17, 2009
We're on hiatus through the end of August. We'll be back to our main shtick on September 8th. In the mean time ...
When DailyWorth launched back in January ('09), we offered a different kind of email service. Our earliest emails were short, money-inspired bits of sass to help you start your day. We received feedback that DailyWorth wasn't worthwhile as money inspiration alone, so we changed our format to offer more practical money tips, with the occasional kick in the pants of course. For fun, you can read some of our earliest work below.
Let's Talk About You
Not really. Let's talk about your money. You can spend it, give it away or stuff it under the mattress. You are captain of your own finances and investments, so don't ignore them. Get to know them. Ask the tough questions, the easy ones, even the stupid ones. Educate yourself. Learn everything you can. Advice can be a precious commodity, but nothing beats first-hand knowledge.
Ready. Aim. Go.
You have to start with a direction. Moving in a direction, even if it's not the right one, is better than standing still in a thunderstorm.
“How often I found where I should be going only by setting out for
somewhere else.”
~ R. Buckminster Fuller
